Sartorial Inspiration, 12 Dec 09

Sometimes, I start with a character.  For this season, it has been: a "Norwegian Fisherman."



Honestly, I have no idea what a Norwegian fisherman actually looks like, but I know I wanted to dress like one based on the sound of it - the thought of it - the feel of it.

And then comes the outfit:

(1) Chunky knit sweater with a shawl collar:
